
Louise P. Fay, age 84, of Galesburg, Illinois died at 6:20 A.M. on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Heartland Health Care Center in Galesburg, Illinois.She was born on May 30, 1933 in Galesburg, Illinois the daughter of Lewis Stephen and Virginia (King) Peterson. She attended Galesburg High School. She married Robert D. Fay on April 29, 1962 at the First Church of God in Galesburg, Illinois. He preceded her in death on February 20, 2004.
Surviving is a daughter: Roberta (Tim) Talbott of East Galesburg, Illinois; two twin sons: Robin (Renee) Fay of New Windsor, Illinois and Roger (Tonya) Fay of Cambridge, Illinois; eight grandchildren: Dustin Fay, Rob Talbott, Janette McCasky, Ryan Fay, Morgen Talbott, Nathan Fay, Matthew Fay and Hannah Talbott; five great grandchildren. Also one sister: Bernadine Fleisher of Rural Knoxville, Illinois and one brother, Jim (Sandy) Arie of Creve Coeur, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Jim Peterson.
She worked for the former Admirals, Canfield, NIPRO, then last Midwest Plastics of Galesburg, Illinois as a shop foreman, retiring in 1998. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Galesburg, Illinois, and the Roving Wranglers Saddle Club in Altona, Illinois. She enjoyed camping, fishing, doing anything mechanical and was an avid CUBS fan.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 5:00 P.M. on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Bethel Baptist Church in Galesburg, Illinois, with a funeral service beginning at 5:00P.M Rev. Scott Wilson will officiate. A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Clover Chapel Cemetery in Rural Woodhull, Illinois, a fellowship will follow at 11:30 A.M. at Bethel Baptist Church in Galesburg, Illinois.
