Galesburg Community Foundation announces new roles for two staff members

The Galesburg Community Foundation has introduced a new role in their organization that will be taken on by one of their familiar faces.Tiffany Springer currently oversees Community Treasures Thrift Shop, which is affiliated with the GCF.

She’ll continue to do that but also will now serve as the Director of Grants and Programs.

GCF President and CEO Josh Gibb says that this new role “compliments Tiffany’s current responsibilities” saying she has already brought “many great ideas to these programs.”

Springer has been with GCF since 2015.

She’s involved in the community as a board member of KCCDD, President of the Galesburg Noon Lions Club and Co-Director of the Community Play Project just to name a few.

The Community Foundation is also announcing that their, Chief Financial Officer, Jennifer Anderson has been appointed to the Illinois CPA Society’s Nonprofit Organization Committee.

This will afford Anderson the opportunity to influence state law, regulations and administration regarding accounting, auditing and taxation affecting non-profits.

Anderson has been with GCF since 2016.
