A Warren County man who went missing on Mar. 23 has been discovered dead in Little Swan Lake.
Warren County Coroner Al McGuire says that he along with Warren County’s Sheriff’s Deputies and Illinois State Police were called to the lake to the west of Avon Friday morning just before 9:30 a.m.
McGuire pronounced Thurman dead a short time later.
An autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause of death.
The Sheriff’s Department said in the days following Thurman’s initial disappearance that they weren’t suspecting foul play, but McGuire didn’t make that declaration Friday.
Thurman was last seen at home Friday, Mar. 22.
His vehicle was found the next morning at the Little Swan Lake clubhouse.
