In the Class 3A Regional at Geneseo:  (4 seed) Dunlap 46, (5) Illinois Valley Central 34.  Dunlap plays top seeded Geneseo tonight at 6:00 p.m. at Geneseo.  (2) Galesburg plays (3) Alleman Catholic at 8:00 p.m. tonight, also at Geneseo.

Chuck Gibbs Death:

The Galesburg community is mourning the death of long-time Galesburg resident and Galesburg High School Hall of Famer Chuck Gibbs.  Mr. Gibbs passed away Monday at Galesburg Cottage Hospital.

Chuck Gibbs played basketball and baseball for GHS and for Knox, graduating from Galesburg High School in 1944 and from Knox College in 1950.  Mr. Gibbs was inducted into both the Galesburg High School and Knox-Lombard Athletic Halls of Fame. Chuck Gibbs was 87.
