Florida Georgia Line to Perform at IL State Fair

florida georgia lineSPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) — One of country music’s top vocal duos is coming to the Illinois State Fair this summer.

Fair officials said Tuesday that Florida Georgia Line will perform at the grandstand on Aug. 10.

Members of the band are Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard. They released their debut studio album just over a year ago to great success.

They were awarded 2013 Single of the Year by the Country Music Association for their song, “Cruise.”

Florida George Line also was named Vocal Duo of the Year by the CMA, and New Artist and New Vocal Duo of the Year by the Academy of Country Music.

The 2014 Illinois State Fair will be held Aug. 7 – 17 in Springfield.
