Galesburg Police are continuing to look for a man they believe may have threatened two people with a gun, Monday.
Officers were called to the 200 block of North Broad Street just before 1 p.m. to reports of the threat.
Once on scene, police made contact with a woman who said she and her boyfriend, 39-year-old Patrick Eckwood, were in an argument. According to the police report, the woman’s son got involved, but was told that the content of the argument was none of his business.
The woman’s son left, but came back a time later with his friend, identified as 25-year-old Jamie Campbell, who allegedly began arguing with Eckwood. Multiple witnesses noted that Campbell was carrying a silver pistol in his pants when he allegedly pulled the firearm out and threatened to kill both the woman and Eckwood.
Campbell left the scene and is wanted on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and felon in possession of a firearm.
Eckwood was taken into custody on a Peoria County warrant for allegedly driving while his license was revoked.
