A Galesburg man accused of breaking into at least three vehicles early Friday will be back in court later this month.
Knox County Circuit Court records indicate 34-year-old Michael Tenhaaf appeared in court Monday on three Class-two felony counts of Burglary, three Class-Four felony counts of Theft, and one Class-Three felony count of Attempted Burglary.
Tenhaaf was arrested Friday, after prosecutors say several vehicles in the area of the three-thousand block of Whitehaven Circle. Police believe items like a flashlight, a wallet, and cash were among the things taken — all items later located.
A man on bicycle in the area identified as Tenhaaf was arrested — despite an alleged attempt to provide a false name to police.
Tenhaaf is being held in the Knox County Jail on 75-thousand dollars bond. He’ll be back in court April 29th for a preliminary hearing.
