Anton R. Kozelichki, 21, of Alexis, IL died at 9:00 A.M. Thursday, April 24, 2014 at St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL.

Anton was born May 24, 1992 in Galesburg, IL, the son of Anthony “Tony” D. and Linda S. (Copeland) Kozelichki. He was raised and educated in Alexis, IL. He attended ICS and graduated from United High School in 2010. Anton was a senior at Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Mo where he was to graduate in May.

He was a member of the Gerlaw Christian Church. While in High School he played football, baseball and ran track. He played football for 2 years at Culver-Stockton College before becoming the radio voice for Wildcat Football the past 2 years. While at Culver-Stockton he was a Community Assistant, Student Government Association Representative and a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He also worked in the Admissions Department giving tours, making phone calls and meeting with prospective students. Anton truly enjoyed everything about being a Culver-Stockton College Wildcat. He was an ardent fan of the Chicago Cubs, Bears, and Blackhawks.

Survivors include his parents, Tony and Linda Kozelichki of Alexis; his sister, Caitlin Kozelichki of Alexis; maternal grandparents, David and Ruth Copeland of East Moline, IL; paternal grandmother, Shirley Kozelichki of Canton, IL; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Rudy Kozelichki and his aunt, Carla Kozelichki.

Memorial services will be 3:00 P.M Sunday, April 27, 2014 at United Sr. High School, 1905 100th St. Monmouth, IL. Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 at the High School. Anton’s family requests that friends wear the colors of Anton’s favorite teams, Chicago Cubs, Bears, Blackhawks, Notre Dame, Culver-Stockton Wildcats, and United Red Storm. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be given to the Gerlaw Christian Church or Culver-Stockton College, Canton, MO.
