The family of a missing Fulton County man is still looking for answers and is now offering a financial reward for new information.
22-year-old Derick Higgins was reported missing on March 21st of last year. He was last seen at a bank in Canton the morning of his disappearance. According to a press release from the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department, the family is now offering 1-thousand dollars for information regarding their son’s whereabouts.
Higgins was described as a track and field standout, but family members have said in the past he may have been suffering from depression.
Although Higgins was reported missing, his vehicle was spotted in Tallahassee, Florida following a minor accident. Calls requesting comment on the situation were not immediately returned from the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department, Tuesday.
Investigators do say in the press release that they are still not receiving additional information that could potentially find Higgins.
