A great way to spend time with the family, listen to music, eat and get a little shopping done.
This Friday marks the first “First Friday” of the summer season and organizers say they are looking forward to seeing everyone back out on Seminary Street.
Organizer Phil Dickinson says during the evening local merchants will be out on the streets displaying some of their products, but Dickinson tells WGIL there will be some new things as well.
“This year there is going to be a Seminary Street scavenger hunt for those who are interested. A certain number of businesses each month will basically have something for the guest to… receive stamps or get cards filled out.”
Dickinson says in addition, if you make a purchase at a Seminary Street business excluding restaurants between five and eight pm on First Friday, your name will be entered into a drawing held in September where winners will take part in a “money booth” prize grab.
First Friday’s starts this Friday at 5 pm.
