CHICAGO (AP) — Hillary Rodham Clinton has told a crowd in Chicago that leadership requires “an endless set of tough calls.”
The potential 2016 presidential candidate spoke Tuesday evening at a meeting of the Food Marketing Institute and the United Fresh Produce Association. The stop came on the same day the Democratic former secretary of state released a new book, titled “Hard Choices.”
Clinton says she chose the title because life is full of difficult choices and “how we handle them shapes the people we become.”
In a series of interviews Clinton has dropped hints she’s seriously considering running in 2016.
Clinton’s book tour began Tuesday morning in New York. She’s also scheduled to discuss it with Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel on Wednesday as part of Chicago Ideas Week.
