Kim Wells is the Executive Director of the Corporate Alliance to End Partner Violence, an organization based in Bloomington, IL.
The Corporate Alliance to End Partner Violence or CAEPV, is an Illinois based organization that is partnering with the National Football League to help them write policy regarding domestic violence. This issue is at the forefront of national news with the recent allegations of abuse against several prominent NFL players. Kim is a former Illinois State University and Heartland Community College faculty member, as well as serving as a member of the National Advisory Board for the National Family Justice Center Alliance, the Advisory Board for the Allstate Foundation Domestic Violence Program, the Verizon Foundation Domestic Violence Advisory Board, and the Workplace Committee of the National Task Force to End Sexual and Domestic Violence Against Women, among others. She joined us to talk about this issue and the organization’s role with the NFL on the WGIL Morning News.
