Perabeau, Eloise

Eloise May Perabeau, age 62 of Bushnell and formerly of Galesburg, died at 4:03 p.m. Friday, December 12, 2014 at her home.

She was born on September 16, 1952 in Galesburg, the daughter of Charles Lester and Marion Rojean Calhoun Forshee. She married Carl R. Perabeau on December 5, 1970 in Galesburg.

May is survived by her loving husband Carl; three sons, Ricky Eugene (Dana) Perabeau of Clarksville, Tennessee, Charles Leslie (Gayle) Perabeau of Bourbonnais and Casey Lee Perabeau of Galesburg; two daughters, Lisa Sue Perabeau of Galesburg and Jennifer Lynn (Eric Crawford) Hallesy of Jacksonville; 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; one brother, Lester Eldon (Karen) Forshee of Galesburg; two sisters, Donna (Bob) Bicknell of Galesburg and Diana Kincaid of Bushnell; and several nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother George and two sisters, Sandra and Connie.

She worked as a waitress for many years and was a homemaker. She had lived in Germany and Ft. Campbell, Kentucky while her husband was in the military prior to living in Galesburg and Bushnell. She was a member of the Smithfield Church of the Nazarene.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel. Rev. Dean R. Potts and Rev. Doug Sopher will officiate. Burial will be in the Abingdon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel.
