Corzatt, Max E.

Max E. Corzatt, 84, of Roseville, IL went peacefully home to be with the Lord on Saturday January 31, 2015, 9:40 am at his home. He was born June 21, 1930 in Roseville, IL the son of Cornelius and Hazel Lofftus Corzatt. He married Erva Mohr on June 23, 1972.

He is survived by his wife of Roseville, IL; two sons Brad (Robin) Corzatt of Roseville, IL and Jeff (Rhonda) Corzatt of Monmouth, IL; 6 grandchildren M’Lyn, Marty, Marisa, Madison, Logan, and Mallory; two sisters Marie (Richard) Walker of Roseville, IL and Evelyn Shimmon of Roseville, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister (Carol Kneen), 1 granddaughter (Morgan).

He was a livestock farmer raising cattle and hogs. He was a 4-H Leader for 30 years, He taught Sunday school and Jr. High youth for close to 30 years. He attended Country Side Bible Church of Monmouth, IL. He loved the land and enjoyed working hard. He was a very loving and giving person with a great sense of humor and will be deeply missed.

Funeral service will be Wednesday February 4, 2015, 11:00 am at the Hoover Hall Memorial Chapel Monmouth, IL. Visitation will be Tuesday February 3, 2015 from 5:00-7-00 pm at the Roseville Community Center Roseville, IL. There will be a private family burial. Memorials may be made to the Roseville Community Center, Roseville Fire Dept. Roseville Area Ambulance, and or Country Side Bible Church. Online condolences may be left at www.hooverhall.com.
