Ryner, Nadene

Mrs. Nadene Ryner, 70, of Oneida, Ill. died 7:50 a.m. Sunday, February 15, 2015 at her home.

She was born January 21, 1945 in Galesburg, Ill. to Harold and Erma Driwer Nelson. She married Carl “Tom” Ryner October 6, 1962 in Galesburg. He survives.

Also surviving, are two daughters, Renee (and Robin) Fay of New Windsor, Ill. and Tina Ott of Williamsfield, Ill., a sister, Lois Pierce of Galesburg, four grandchildren, Sammi Ott, Austin Ott, Nathan Fay and Matthew Fay and a great granddaughter, Rylee Doubet.

Nadene graduated from Galesburg High School in 1963. She was a surgical technician at Cottage Hospital for 19 years and later for Dr. Dan Kasper and Dr. Bruce Bobofchak for five years. She retired January 1, 2010. She was a member of Little John Conservation Club.

Cremation will be accorded. Memorial service will be 5:00 p.m. Friday, February 20, 2015 at the Community of Christ Church, Galesburg. Bonnie King and Joyce McCanless will officiate. There will be no visitation. Private family burial of cremated remains in the Oneida Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to Hospice Compassus or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
