Catherine L. Page, 74, of Galesburg, died at 9 a.m. Monday, February 16, 2015 in Seminary Manor.
She was born June 9, 1940 in Pike County, Missouri the daughter of William Alfred and Ruby Lee (King) Jarboe. She married Bontie Lee Page on June 12, 1964 in Bowling Green, Missouri.
She is survived by two sisters, Betty (and Raymond) Dempsey of Sidney, Ohio and Alice Pritchette of Bowling Green, Missouri and her friend, Joyce Bean of Galesburg. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Catherine worked for Bankheads Candy in Bowling Green. She also worked for Gross Galesburg/Carhartt from 1981-2005, retiring in 2005. She was a member of the Knox County Democratic Women and Knox County Democrats. Catherine had received the “Democrat Woman of the Year” award.
Funeral will be 11 am Monday, February 23, 2015 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Pastor Tom Smith will officiate. Visitation will be from 10-11 am Monday at the chapel. Additional visitation will be 12-1 pm Tuesday, February 24, 2015 in the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green Missouri with burial to follow in Fairmount Cemetery in Middletown, Missouri.
