East Beats West in McDonald’s All-American Boys Game 111-91

CHICAGO (AP) — Cheick Diallo scored 18 points and had 10 rebounds to lead the East to a 111-91 win over the West in the boy’s McDonald’s All-American game on Wednesday night.Trailing 69-61, the East went on an 8-0 run in the second half to tie the score at 69.

Antonio Blakeney, an LSU commit, had two dunks in the span. Dwayne Bacon, a Florida State commit, opened up the lead for the East with a three-point play to put the East up 76-71.

Diallo, the game’s MVP, extended the East lead to 83-72 after spinning by Jalen Brunson for an impressive layup. The Mali native is choosing among Iowa State, Kansas, Kentucky, Pittsburgh and St. John’s. He is listed at 6 feet, 9 inches, 230 pounds.

Allonzo Trier finished with 17 points for the West
