Foutch, Nancy PhotoNancy Paulette Foutch, 68 of Abingdon, died at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at her home. 

She was born on April 20, 1946 in Council Bluff, Iowa, the daughter of Alfred Franklin and Mary Gladys Cozad Green.  She married Lugene “Big Luke” Riley Foutch on October 7, 1965 in Pacific Junction, Iowa.  He preceded her in death on November 30, 2012.  She was also preceded in death by her parents and five brothers, Richard, Raymond, Carlos, John, and Allen Green.

Nancy is survived by three daughters, Barbara Ann (and Mike) Johnson of Abingdon, Ronda Gene Stanley of Seattle, Washington, and Sharon Lynn Asencio of Galesburg; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, LaVetta Konfrat of Plattsmouth, Nebraska and Marlene Erickson of Kent, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.

She attended schools in Pacific Junction, Iowa and Glenwood, Iowa graduating in 1964.  She worked at Bernie’s Café in Creston, Iowa and the Glenwood Laundry in Glenwood, Iowa.  She had lived in Abingdon since March of 1966.  She was a homemaker.  She had worked at the former A & W Restaurant and the Care Center of Abingdon.  She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Abingdon.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.

Funeral service will be held at 11 am Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel.  Rev. Russ Witkowski and Mrs. Eleanor Landon will officiate.  Burial will be in the Vermont Cemetery, Vermont, Illinois.  Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the chapel.
