Cook, AngelineAngeline L. Cook, lifelong resident of Roseville, IL passed away on Saturday May 23, 2015, at the Roseville Rehab and Healthcare Center Roseville, IL.  She was born on October 2, 1919 in Roseville, IL the daughter of Willaim A. and Mamie Carothers Lee.  She married Francis H. Cook on August 25, 1946.

She is survived by one daughter Susan (Hank) Sinda of St. Charles, MO; two sons Bill (Dorothy) Cook of Roseville, IL and Robert (Carol) Cook of Cadiz, KY; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother Albert Lee (Dorthea), and her devoted husband of 65 years, Francis H. Cook.

Angeline graduated from Roseville High School in 1937 and attended McMurry College in Jacksonville, IL and the University of Illinois.  After marrage, the couple settled for life in Roseville, IL where Francis owned and operated Warren Heating and Air Conditioning.  Angeline was co-owner and operator of C&E Motor Supply in Monmouth, IL for many years.

She was a member of the Roseville Methodist Church, Lawson Babbitt Post American Legion Auxilliary, T.T.T. Society, and she served on the Roseville Unit 200 School Board.  In 2010, Angeline was honored for her 50 years of service to the Roseville Library Association Board.  Angeline also enjoyed playing bridge with her many friends until recently.

Funeral services will be held Thursday May 28, 2015, 11:00 am at the Wise Family-Hoover Hall Funeral Home Monmouth, IL.  The family will recieve friends one hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow the service in the Roseville Township Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Lawson Babbitt American Legion Auxilliary, The Roseville Library Association, and or OSF Hospice.  Online condolences maybe made at www.wisefamily-hooverhall.com.  Wise Family-Hoover Hall Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
