SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) — Former St. Louis Cardinals manager Tony La Russa has been named a Missouri sports legend.
The Missouri Sports Hall of Fame on Wednesday also unveiled a bronze sculpture of La Russa, the Arizona Diamondbacks chief baseball officer.
La Russa, inducted into the Hall of Fame last summer, led St. Louis to two World Series titles, three NL pennants and eight division titles.
