Cubs LHP Tsuyoshi Wada Leaves Game with Cramping in Arm

Chicago CubsCHICAGO (AP) – Cubs left-hander Tsuyoshi Wada was removed from his start against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday night with cramping in the back of his left arm.
Wada gave up a leadoff homer to Kike Hernandez and a single by A.J. Ellis before he was replaced by Travis Wood with no outs in the third inning of Chicago’s 4-2 victory.

The team said Wada had cramping in his left deltoid muscle and will be evaluated again Tuesday. Wada said after the game through a translator that he felt fine and hoped to take his next turn in the rotation.

Wada missed the start of the season with a mild left groin strain. He is 1-1 with a 3.73 ERA in seven games.
