knox county courthouseThree of four individuals arrested last month for a string of meth-related charges appeared in Knox County Circuit court today.

Judge Thomas Ewing ruled to reduce bond for one of the individuals, 39-year-old Garrett Stancomb.

Stancomb faces two Class X felonies worth up to 30 years in prison, as well as two Class two felonies. Ewing reduced bond in half to $125,000. Stancomb faces arraignment August 12th.

Garrett’s wife, 40-year-old Heidi Stancomb also appeared. She waived a preliminary hearing, and will now face a bond reduction hearing August 2nd as well as arraignment September 9th.

The group was arrested July 20th, after police searched a home on the 400 block of S. Chambers Street, and found more than 200 grams of meth inside. Two children were handed over to another group following the arrests as well.

The Stancomb’s had reportedly been allowing other individuals to manufacture meth from inside the residence. One of those individuals, Tashia Farris appeared this afternoon. Farris has waived a preliminary hearing, and will re-appear in court September 9th.

Each individual remains in Knox County Jail at this time.
