Delle Donne, Vandersloot Lead Sky Past Storm, 94-84

chicago skySEATTLE (AP) –Elena Delle Donne and Courtney Vandersloot each scored 21 points to help the Chicago Sky beat the Seattle Storm 94-84 on Friday night.

Delle Donne was back in the lineup after missing a game with an ankle injury. The WNBA scoring leader was 5 of 13 from the field and 11 of 11 at the foul line. The third-year pro was greeted with cheers during introductions, finally playing at Key Arena after missing 2013 with a foot sprain and last season to Lyme Disease.

Vandersloot added eight assists for the Sky (15-10). Jessica Breland had 15 points with 11 rebounds, and Erika de Souza and Cappie Poindexter each scored 13 points.

Markeisha Gatling, waived by the Sky during training camp, led the league-worst Storm (6-19) with a career-high 16 points. Crystal Langhorne and Alysha Clark each had 13.
