DeAndre Moren was the rushing star of the night, 24 carries for 325 yards and two touchdowns, but Nick Myler also had a couple of touchdown runs. Fernando Diaz and Jacob Ross had touchdown runs as well. And Ross also found Jacob Carl on a pass reception for the 7th touchdown of the night as Galesburg found continuous clock with 11 minutes left in the game and cruised to their first win of the season.

“Silver Streaks now wrap up their non-conference schedule, at least the prior to the Western Big 6 as they take on Marion at home next Saturday at Van Dyke Field. It’ll be a 2 o’clock kick off and our pre-game next Saturday will come your way at about 1:30pm here on WGIL. Again, Galesburg wins it big, evens the record at 1-1 on the season, meanwhile the freshman lost the prior game 32-22. The Sophomores play LaSalle-Peru tomorrow(9/05).”
