Craft show to showcase 90 plus vendors tomorrow

Craftshow2015Galva High School will play host to one of the larger area craft shows tomorrow.

The 37th Annual Beta Sigma Phi Craft Show is expected to feature more than 90 vendors and craftsman from all over the Midwest.

Vendors will be showcased inside and outside of the building. That’s according to Event Organizer Jean Mann who tells Galesburg’s Evening News on WGIL that a plethora of goods will be on hand.

“There’s a wide variety of handy craft, seasonal and holiday decorations,” Mann says. “Candles, wooden items, jewelry, toys, doll clothes, sweatshirts, garden art, rugs, table runners, pet treats. Outside you’ll find apples, pumpkins, kettle corn and mums along with other crafts. It’s a great place to start Christmas shopping.”

Mann says breakfast and lunch specialties will be on hand in the school’s cafeteria as well.
She adds that the show itself holds products to high standards.

“It is a semi-juried show,” Mann says. “We do asks for new dealers to submit pictures of what it is that they’re producing. We go from there in deciding whether or not they’ll be in the show.”

Tomorrow’s show will take place from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
