Five arrested in relation to Canton murder case

Fulton County Sheriff’s Deputies confirmed yesterday that five individuals were arrested in relation to the murder of 45-year-old Troy Hedges, who was killed last month in rural Canton.

45-year-old Cheryl Row, 34-year-old Jared Danner and 41-year-old Charles Davis have all been charged with obstructing justice in the case. Davis faces two counts and holds the highest bond of $10,000.

26-year-old Eugene Tennison and 30-year-old Samantha Bess were both charged with one count of aiding a fugitive.

Last month, 37-year-old James F.W. Maddox was arrested for first degree murder for allegedly stabbing Hedges.

Each subject arrested yesterday is a Canton resident. The group are currently being held in the Fulton County Jail. The Sheriff’s department was aided in the arrests by Canton and Lewistown Police.
