The GHS Silver Streak Girls beat the Illini West Chargers tonight(11/20) 73-52. This makes the Streaks 3-0 for the season as well as in the Thanksgiving Tournament while the Chargers are now 0-3.
The Dave’s Auto Body Crunch-Time Player Of The Game was Shayli Florine. She had 14 pts, 10 of which came from the 1st quarter where she was 5/6 shooting. She also had 5 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 2 assists.
The Streaks will be playing again tomorrow evening in the Thanksgiving Tournament at John Theil Gym against the Springfield Senators. Pre-game time for that one is set for about 5:40 with a tip off scheduled to go at 6:10.
