Sedin brothers lead Canucks to 6-3 victory over Blackhawks

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) — Daniel Sedin had three goals and an assist and brother Henrik Sedin added a goal and four assists, leading the Vancouver Canucks to a 6-3 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday night.

Daniel Sedin’s ninth goal of the season snapped a 3-3 tie at 14:35 of the third, and he scored again just two minutes later. Alexandre Burrows added an empty-netter with 38 seconds left as Vancouver stopped a four-game slide.

It was Daniel Sedin’s first hat trick since Dec. 6, 2011, against Colorado. Henrik set a career high for points and matched his career best for assists, accomplished three times previously.

Jonathan Toews had a goal and an assist for the Blackhawks, and Ryan Garbutt and Artem Anisimov also scored.
