No. 17 Oklahoma women make 12 3s in 79-46 win over Bradley

PEORIA, Ill. (AP) — Kaylon Williams and Gabbi Ortiz scored 14 points apiece and No. 17 Oklahoma rolled to a 79-46 win over Bradley on Sunday.

With Ortiz hitting 4 of 7 from 3-point range, the Sooners (3-1) went 12 of 26 behind the line to easily out-distance the Braves (1-2).

Bradley shot 19 percent in the second half and 23 percent for the game but the Braves were 13 of 16 from the foul line after intermission to finish 17 of 34. Oklahoma was just 5 of 6 on free throws.

Whitney Tinjum and Anneke Schlueter each scored 12 points for the Braves.

Oklahoma scored the first eight points and Peyton Little and Ortiz opened the second quarter with 3-pointers to end a 10-0 run for a 20-9 lead.

It was 34-21 at the half and Williams scored six straight points in a 9-0 run that pushed it 47-24 at 3:52 of the third quarter.
