Quincy comes to town tonight for a Western Big 6 girls basketball matchup with the Galesburg Silver Streaks.
The GHS Silver Streaks girls beat the Quincy Blue devils tonight(12/11) 63-40. This makes the Streaks 9-0 for the season and 3-0 in the conference while the Blue Devils are 1-7 for the season and 0-3 in the Western Big 6 conference. The girls have tomorrow(12/12) off and will play again Saturday(12/13) against Geneseo with tip off at 1:30 and pre-game set for 1:10. The boys will be playing tomorrow however. They go up against Moline with a pre-game set for 7:06 and tip off at 7:30 with your play by play from Brad Benewitz and Jim Lee on WGIL and WGIL.com.

The boys will take over the high school hardcourts tonight, as most of the area teams will be in action.

The Galesburg Silver Streaks Girls Basketball team faced Dunlap at home, beating them 62-48.
The Galesburg Silver Streaks Boys Basketball Team opened up the Western Big 6 Conference season last night with a win over rival Rock Island Alleman, 78-38.
The GHS Silver Streaks Girls basketball team beat the Dunlap Eagles 62-48. This makes the girls 8-0 for the season and the Eagles sit at 1-7 for the season. The girls will play again Thursday against Quincy with a pre-game time set for 6:06 and tip off at around 6:30 with play by play with Erik Gibson and Tom Meredith on WGIL and WGIL.com.
