SpotLight-GHS-Sports-BBallThe Silver Streaks Boys, missing two crucial players, managed to keep their winning streak alive tonight as they beat out the Geneseo Maple Leafs 70 – 54. This puts the GHS boys 16 – 0 which is the best start in school history so congratulations to them. The Silver Streaks Boys try to make it 17 – 0 as they play again on Tuesday night at John Thiel Gymnasium against Dunlap to start the MLK Classic. SpotLight-GHS-Sports-BBallThe Galesburg Silver Streaks Boys take on Davenport Assumption in the annual Iowa/Illinois Shootout at Augustana College.  Brad Bennewitz and Jim Lee have the call beginning at 4:40pm with the pregame, and 5:00 with the tipoff.  Then, the Silver Streaks Girls play Jacksonville at the Illinois College Prep Showcase.  Tom Meredith has the call immediately following the boys game.  You can hear both on WGIL, WGIL.com, and the TuneIn Radio App.
