The Galesburg School Board will go back to the drawing board to figure out how to sell Cooke Elementary School.

That’s because the board this afternoon voted to reject both of the bids received for the just-closed facility:  one from West Central Community Services Head Start for $200,000, and one from the Galesburg Rescue Mission for just over$279,000.

sYRIA

We hear all kinds of reports from the government and media about the alleged civil war in Syria. Native Moussa Raei provided us with his opinions of what is going on.

Moussa Raei is a native of Syria who currently resides in Palm Springs, CA. His wife Amy is an Oneida native and R.O.V.A. High School graduate. Moussa disagrees with much of what we hear in the news and from our government regarding a civil war in his native country. We discussed his feelings and opinions on the WGIL Morning News.
