Actor-author Jesse Eisenberg to speak at Illinois Wesleyan

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (AP) — An actor who’s remembered for playing Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in “The Social Network” is scheduled to speak at Illinois Wesleyan University about his debut collection of short stories.

Academy Award-nominated actor Jesse Eisenberg speaks Monday evening on the school’s campus in Bloomington.

Eisenberg’s book is titled “Bream Gives Me Hiccups.” It’s a collection of 28 short stories about modern life. Eisenberg has written three plays too. His short stories have been featured in The New Yorker.

Illinois Wesleyan’s Center for Human Rights and Social Justice is sponsoring Eisenberg’s visit.

The 32-year-old actor has been cast as Lex Luthor in the upcoming “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”
