The Carl Sandburg Chargers are 10-2 on the season and have been receiving some national attention. The men’s basketball team has been receiving votes in the NJCAA Division II national poll for the past few weeks. Head coach Ryan Twaddle heads up the program that’s produced back-to-back 20 plus win seasons. The Chargers are relying on an experienced sophomore heavy class to carry them this season. They host Lincoln Land Community College Wednesday night at John Lewis Gym. Coach Twaddle joined Tom Meredith on “Galesburg’s Morning News” to talk about this year’s team.
