SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) — The Illinois Department of Agriculture has expanded its list of counties on the emerald ash borer quarantine list.
Farmington Central School District #265 is embarking on a $1.8 million solar power project. When completed, it will be the largest project of it’s kind in the country.
Farmington Central Schools superintendent Dr. John Asplund announced a district solar power project Monday. The $1.8 million project will be partially funded by a $1.15 million grant and partially paid by the school district. It will be the largest solar power project of it’s kind at any public school in the nation. It’s expected to pay for itself within 7 to 10 years. LEWISTOWN, Ill. (AP) — A Peoria man has been sentenced to over three years in prison after pleading guilty to his 13th count of driving with a revoked license.
Several arrests were made in Fulton County on Wednesday which involved dozens of cannabis plants.
Recent rains have been beneficial for many of the area crops as they finish the growing season, but may be adding fuel to a late-season disease in soybeans.
The family of a missing Fulton County man is still looking for answers and is now offering a financial reward for new information.
