Galesburg District 205 will open the doors for the community to get a look at the new Bright Futures Preschool space on Monday, May 8.
Superintendent John Asplund says that the renovated space will allow the district to offer more “direct services to our youngest students in the district”.
Asplund adds that 205 will now be able to do so in an “age-appropriate and aesthetically pleasing environment.”
The facility at 940 W. Fremont St. also now houses the District’s Central offices, the Board of Education meeting room, the Galesburg Area Vocational Center, and Bright Futures.
The GAVC facility will also be shown on May 8th for anyone who hasn’t had a chance to tour it yet.
