The Knox Prairie Fire baseball team upped its season record to 9-and-4 with a doubleheader sweep of Beloit yesterday. The Fire won by scores of 9-8 and 15-9. Knox also won a pair of games on Saturday over Robert Morris of Springfield 19-1 and 19-2.

The GHS Boys track & field team is wrapping up a very successful indoor season today @ the Illinois Prep Top Times meet in Bloomington. Head Coach Craig Hillier will be our first hour guest on “Galesburg Live” to talk about the indoor season, the upcoming outdoor season and great athletes he’s coached in the past.

A meeting of the Peacekeepers last night proved to be fruitful for the group.
After a few presentations from the Knox County Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition and the Mary Davis Home, the group switched gears and formed committees.
A Galesburg woman is in custody, and a Galesburg man is wanted, after police allegedly discovered a methamphetamine lab in a home over the weekend.
A Galesburg man arrested earlier this month for an alleged sexual assault of a woman was back in court yesterday.
22-year-old Brent Clark was in Knox County Circuit Court for what was supposed to be a preliminary hearing.

Tonight the Galesburg Peacekeepers will meet to continue their work on ways to improve Galesburg and help it’s youth.
