THIS PERFORMANCE HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL DATES TO BE DETERMINED.

The Monmouth-Roseville High School Performing Arts Department will present its annual spring musical, Guys and Dolls, on March 20 and 21 at 7:00pm and March 22 at 2:00pm at the Monmouth-Roseville High School Auditorium.

Featuring music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and a book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows, Guys and Dolls is based on stories and characters created by Damon Runyon. The musical tells the story of a group of New York City gamblers led by Nathan Detroit who runs the weekly crap game. As the police begin to crack down on his business, Nathan enters into a wager with suave gambler Sky Masterson, betting the avowed ladies’ man that he will not be able to get a date with Sgt Sarah Brown, head of the local Save-a-Soul Mission who has arrived in New York to reform Broadway and its denizens. Meanwhile, Nathan is contending with his own romantic issues as his longtime fiancee, Miss Adelaide, is growing wearing of their extended engagement and is demanding a trip down the aisle.
