The Galesburg Silver Streaks Baseball team will try again today to get the Streaks Invitational in, after games the last several days have been cancelled due to weather. The games should go off, hopefully, without a hitch today, with improved weather conditions in the forecast.

All games today will be at the East Field at Galesburg High School, starting with the Streaks playing Alleman at 11am, followed by Alleman versus Quincy at one, Qunicy versus United Township at 3, and United Township playing Galesburg at 5. Athletic Director Ralph Henning says if there’s a chance to play games earlier due to getting ahead time-wise, they will.

In Sophomore baseball today, the Streaks are at Canton for a double-header starting this morning at 10.

Galesburg is at Auburn in varsity softball action starting at 9am.
