The seven individuals charged with home invasion and the murder of Dakota R. Tinkham are due in Knox County court tomorrow for their first appearance with a public defender.

They appeared in court on Friday when Judge Paul Mangieri read their charges to them.

Felony Assistant State’s Attorney Stephanie Hilton says that all had different roles in the Wednesday night home invasion of Tinkham’s Emery Street home where he was found dead with a gun shot wound.

In Illinois it’s the law that individuals over the age of 15 are automatically tried as an adult when charged with murder, which is how 17 year old Devontae Williams and 16 year old Justin Timmons will be tried.

Williams allegedly pulled the trigger on Tinkham although Miguel Romo, Timmons and Jovendia Williams are also charged with first murder as well as home invasion and armed robbery.

Raymond Gable, Dalton McKee and Charles Posey were charged only with home invasion and armed robbery.

Their bond was all set at $1,000,000, $100,000 to get out.
