Interview: Lee Greenwood

Country music star, Grammy and ACM award winner Lee Greenwood joined us on “Galesburg’s Morning News”. His huge hit “God Bless The USA” is part of the film shown by Homeland Security during the swearing in of new citizens. Lee has a new cd out entitled “I Want To Be In Your World”. He has authored several books, most recently the children’s book “Proud To Be An American” which was released earlier this year.

Tom Sullivan is an entertainer, singer, actor, author, and motivational speaker. He is also the only blind golfer to make a hole in one! He’s sung the National Anthem at the Super Bowl and the Indianapolis 500. He’s appeared on the tonight show with Johnny Carson as well as multiple other television sitcoms & dramas. He is also working on a Broadway show.

Musician, singer, songwriter Paul Thorn will joined us  on the WGIL Morning News.

Paul Thorn grew up in Tupelo, MS the son of a pentacostal preacher. A talented musician, he is an icon in the world of Americana music. Paul and his band were coming to Galesburg to play at the Fat Fish Pub. We talked with him about growing up in Tupelo, his music & influences,  his family and his career.
