The Western Big 6 Conference is celebrating it’s 50th year. There will be a ceremony prior to the GHS varsity boys basketball game against Rock Island Friday night. Former Quincy Herald Whig and Moline Dispatch sports writer Dan Makarawicz has written a book about the he conference. That book will be available at the game. Dan joined Tom Meredith on “Galesburg’s Morning News” to talk about the book and the history of the WB6.
