A 60-year-old Avon woman was killed Sunday in a single vehicle crash in Wayne County, Mississippi.
The Associated Press reports that Amy Trau is the deceased. Trau’s husband, 60-year-old Michael Trau lost control of his Chevy Trailblazer headed northbound on U.S. 45 in the southeast corner of the state. The vehicle overturned.
Amy Trau was the passenger in that vehicle and she would later be pronounced dead at a county hospital. No additional information was released regarding what caused Michael Trau to lose control of the vehicle.
AP reports that Amy Trau was one of two people to be killed in the state of Mississippi over the Thanksgiving weekend.
