Members of the Galesburg High School Class of 2017 got the chance Friday to take a trip back to where it all began for them — elementary school. Members, dressed in full cap and gown, went on a “memory walk” of sorts through each of the schools they attended, starting with GHS, continuing on to the elementary school they went to, and ending at middle school.
We followed some of the graduates on part of the journey — which, for two dozen, was Silas Willard Elementary School. Will Stevenson talks with the GHS and Silas principals, and one of the students, on Galesburg’s Evening News.
