Margaret Pauline Kilpatrick, 73, of Galesburg, died at 12:23 a.m. Sunday, September 3, 2017 in Rosewood Care Center.
She was born June 17, 1944, in Galesburg, the daughter of Paul Chester and Virginia Lavada (Lamb) Adams. She married Roger Dale Kilpatrick.
She is survived by her husband of over 52 years, Roger; two daughters, Peggy (and David) Kilpatrick-Evans of Carrier Mills, Illinois and Chastity Kilpatrick of Galesburg; 11 grandchildren; one great grandchildren; a brother, Paul C. Adams Jr. of Galesburg; and a sister, Betty “Bernice” Wall of Galesburg. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Patricia I. “Pat” Morris.
Margaret was a homemaker. She attended Galesburg High School and was a lifelong resident of Galesburg. Over the years, she had attended the Assembly of God Church, First Church of the Nazarene, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Margaret enjoyed camping, touring, crafts, and cooking.
Visitation will be noon to 1 p.m. Friday, September 8, 2017 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Graveside service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at East Linwood Cemetery with Rev.
