Melinda S. Miller, 54, of Avon, IL passed away Monday, March 5, 2018 at OSF St. Mary’s Medical Center in Galesburg, IL. She was born Sunday, February 9, 1964 in Canton, IL the daughter of John Sr. and Sandra S. (Loveland) Taylor.Those left to cherish her memory are daughter Nichole Huber; Step children Shandy Martin, Tory Mathers, Casey Ashby, Tammy Sloan, Brandi Harris, and Sandra Casey; siblings Sheryl, Mark, Bridget, Melissa, Crystal, Brenda, Virginia, Michael, William, John, and Brian; and also her lifetime companion Don Melvin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother (Johnnie Taylor), and daughter (Mindy Sue).
She loved kids and enjoyed cooking. People knew her for her chicken and noodles.
A celebration of Melinda’s life will be held Sunday, March 18, 2018, 2:00 p.m. at the Ellisville Christian Church in Ellisville, IL. Memorials may be made to the Melinda Miller Memorial Fund.
