Donna K. (Peck) Woodward, 71 of Abingdon, passed away at 10:15 a.m. Sunday, September 9, 2018 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg.She was born December 14, 1946 in Galesburg, the daughter of Doren and Opal (Toops) Peck. She married Michael Woodward on April 6, 1967 in Kahoka, Missouri.
Donna is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Michael; her children, Patty (and Mike Swank) Woodward of Abingdon and Tony (and Candy) Woodward of Abingdon; 6 grandchildren, Brittany Sloan, Whitney Cudd, Chelsea McCann, Timothy (and Paige Watkins) McCann, Jr., Shaina McCann and Dalton McCann; and 9 great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers, Kenneth and Terry.
Donna lived all her life in Abingdon where she attended Abingdon schools. She worked as the Housekeeping Supervisor at the Care Center of Abingdon for many years and later worked in the Laundry Department at the Knox County Nursing Home in Knoxville, retiring in 1993. She was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a Jimmy Johnson #48 fan. She also watched soap operas and gave Mike a hard time. She loved her family and enjoyed her watching her great-grandchildren, Bentley & Robyn.
