In the last few months — and especially this week — a unique bakery based in Galva has received national and worldwide attention. Margaret Cortes started “Special Kneads Bakery,” in part, so that her son Frankie would have a job as he became an adult. Frankie has Cerebal Palsy. The Cortes family made a trip this week to ABC in New York City to be on “Strahan, Sara, & Keke” — the afternoon companion to “Good Morning America.” Will Stevenson talked about the NYC trip, and the family’s story, with Margaret Cortes on Galesburg’s Evening News.
