Gary D. Johnson, 69, of Monmouth, IL died at 8:58 am, Friday, February 21, 2020 at his home. Gary was born on October 16, 1950, in Galesburg, IL the son on Martin Hjalmar and Betty Jean (Morrison) Johnson. He was raised and educated in Galesburg, graduating from Galesburg High School in 1969. Gary most recently worked at Farmland in Monmouth, IL. He was a member of A.B.A.T.E. Survivors include his sister, Sherryle (Frederick) Doyle of Albert Lea, MN; 2 nephews, Troy Doyle and Brett Doyle both Albert Lea, MN; 3 great-nephews and 1 great-niece. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has been accorded. No services are planned at this time. Interment at Memorial Park, Galesburg will take place at a later date. Memorials may be given to A.B.A.T.E.
