Patricia A. Clewell, age 83, of Galesburg, Illinois died at 3:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 21, 2020, at her home in Galesburg, Illinois.

She was born on February 6, 1937, in Dahinda, Illinois the daughter of Glen and Rosa (Howard) Wetterow. She married Arthur D. Clewell on November 11, 1957, in Dahinda, Illinois. He preceded her in death on February 25, 2000.

Patricia is survived by her children: Vickey Bangert of Galesburg, Illinois, Dale (Tia) Clewell of Galesburg, Illinois, Anita (Sonny) Winter of Galesburg, Illinois, Raymond Clewell of Galesburg, Illinois, Kevin (Debbie) Clewell of Galesburg, Illinois, and David Clewell of Galesburg, Illinois; ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; her siblings: a twin sister, Glenda Hollis of Monmouth, Illinois, George (Diane) Wetterow of Peoria, Illinois, Bruce Wetterow of Knoxville, Illinois, Lorraine Simpson of Galesburg, Illinois, Calvin (Sally) Wetterow of Galesburg, Illinois, Andrea Jean Wetterow of Galesburg, Illinois, Diane McCoy of Victoria, Illinois, Ed Wetterow of Monmouth, Illinois, and Bob (Shelly) Wetterow of Galesburg, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Phillip, two brothers, Gerald and Terry, three sisters: Doris, Mary, and Wendy.

She worked for over 30 years in the State of Illinois Health system, starting with the former Galesburg Mental Research Center in Galesburg, Illinois, then in Lincoln, Illinois and finally at the former Zeller Mental Health Center in Peoria, Illinois before retiring.

When she was younger, she attended Dahinda United Methodist Church and taught Sunday School She enjoyed for family and being with her grandchildren

Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes & Crematory in Knoxville, Illinois, the family will not be present. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 26, 2020, at East Linwood Cemetery, Galesburg, Illinois, with Rev. Roberta Rudiger officiating.
